She is a custom 34,2m flybridge sport fisher, launched in 1990 by Royal Hakvoort. She was built in Netherlands at the Monnickendam shipyard, based on complete designs by Pieter Beeldsnijder. The 1,5m draft of her aluminum planning hull, combined with twin MTU diesels driving KaMeWa waterjets, allows effortless performance with a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising range of 800 nautical miles at 22 knots. Her spacious arrangement expanding over 3 decks provides comfortable accommodation for 6 guests in 1 Master suite, 1 VIP suite and 1 Double cabin, plus 4 crew members providing a unique luxury yacht experience.
During her latest refit the Navigation system was upgraded based on the SIMRAD NSO evo3S MFD architecture, enhanced with the latest solid state pulse compression open array radar technology. The system’s multi core processors offer custom helm layouts to suit any activity, and seamless switching between layouts in an instant. Built-in wireless connectivity can link the MFD to users’ existing mobile devices for remote viewing and control plus delivers easy online software upgrades via any wireless internet hotspot. Wired Ethernet, NMEA 2000®, and J1939 networking provide almost limitless integration options, from vessel-wide display systems to radar, sonar, engine integration, and much more. Furthermore, her GPS, AIS and Wind systems were also updated. While dedicated fishing systems with multi-frequency high power CHIRP transducers and modules were also integrated in the Navigation MFD leveraging the 3D bottom mapping capabilities of the OLEX Professional Fishing Plotter.
The vessel’s Auto-steering was also upgraded with SIMRAD adaptive Heading Control System with redundant gyro system. This allows optimized control of the KaMeWa waterjet propulsion drive system plus complete integration to the Navigation system.
Aegean Electronics completed the refit and integration of the Navigation, Fishing and Auto-steering systems including engineering, installation, and commissioning.
