2019 Retrofit – Trawler 28m
She is a 28m Fishing Vessel (trawler) custom built-in North Greece and delivered in 2007. In winter 2019 she has gone through the fitting of a new wireless net monitoring system with minimal disruption of fishing operations. The existing hydrophone was used allowing completion of the works without dry-docking the vessel. Furthermore, the old trawl doors were fitted with new trawl door adaptors allowing for multiple measurements from the new Simrad PX MultiSensors. The new Simrad PX System (MultiSensors/SR70/TV80) specified for this project allows for more than 15 simultaneous door/net measurements. The dependability and accuracy of these latest state of the art advanced systems will extend the vessel’s planned productive lifetime, lower operating costs and increase productivity while improving fishing selectivity. Moreover, the new system allows for live shore support by remote link to the equipment onboard the vessel. The works onboard were completed from our Team within one full day including door/net rigging, set-up, and delivery seatrial.
