B&G released new software v.2.3.176

B&G® are pleased to announce the latest software release for the Zeus® S, Zeus® S Ultrawide, and Zeus® SR chart-plotter series. This new software introduces new features and incorporates various improvements and fixes which were identified by our internal SQA teams and customer feedback since the last release.

Chart Improvements

  • New quick-access buttons to instantly enable or disable features and enhance your charting experience.
  • AIS List feature showing all received AIS targets in a searchable and filterable list.

Radar Improvements

  • Added the ability to pin target information to the screen for detailed information while the target is being tracked.
  • Antenna Offset allowing radar alignment
  • Improvements around target filtering allowing just the current radar instance or both radar instances to be viewed.
  • Added radar controls to the quick access menu to quickly enable transmit / standby.

Instruments Improvements

  • Added a new dedicated EV Dashboard allowing critical information to be displayed in a clear and easy way.
  • Added the ability to show / hide dashboards
  • Added the ability to duplicate a dashboard
  • Added a new Tide Widget
  • Improved page editing controls with on-screen cursor buttons for extra control of the size and location of a gauge.
  • Added the ability to make digital gauges transparent
  • Added to the ability to add custom text labels.

Autopilot Improvements

  • Added the High / Low speed profile indicators to the autopilot control bar.
  • Added the ability to control the compass calibration routines from supported compass, such as the Precision-9
  • Added the ability to view the Local Field and Angle readings while performing a compass calibration.

Home page Improvements

  • Enabled the instrument data bar to be automatically added to new page layouts, however, it can be removed if not required.
  • Adjusting the split size layouts is now part of the split creation process.
  • HTML-5 Apps can be added to user splits as well as being able to be pinned to the activity bar as the start-up app.

C-MAP® Account Settings

  • Any C-MAP® Downloaded charts or updates are tied to a user’s B&G® / C-MAP® account meaning, that should a user log out of their account, and another account is used, the user will be presented with a warning dialog that previously downloaded chart data will be removed.

Touch lock improvement

  • Improvements to the screen unlocking process now requires a dedicated long press rather than a short tap.
