Software update for RECON™ Trolling Motors

Simrad Yachting, a leader in marine electronics and navigation, announced today the release of software version 1.1.09, for the RECON™ Saltwater Trolling Motor. This latest software update includes:

  • FreeSteer@ remote bug fixes and improvements
  • Course Lock performance improvements
  • Navigation/Autopilot improvements
  • Anchor improvements in various conditions
  • Trolling Motor autopilot bug fixes and Improvements

Recommended Action

Trolling motors operating on software versions prior to 1.1.09 should update to the latest RECON software version 1.1.09 via the Simrad ® mobile App or via download on the website and update via Micro SD card (Max 32GB). This software update can also be performed by the users’ local Support Center.
