New partnership of SIMRAD & BRABUS Marine

Simrad® is proud to announce a strategic partnership with BRABUS Marine who has chosen Simrad® marine electronics brand for their new flagship BRABUS Shadow 900, which makes its World Premiere at the 2020 Dusseldorf Boat Show, taking place from 18th – 26th January. BRABUS Marine is the result of an exciting alliance between the award-winning Finnish boat builder Axopar Boats and the long-established, high-performance luxury automotive car producer BRABUS.

Handcrafted and packed with technical innovation, the new BRABUS Shadow 900 offers a full driver-focused dashboard that incorporates four Simrad® Information Display screens, dual 12” and dual 9”, that gives a real ‘glass bridge’ feel, something that is usually only found on superyachts. The bespoke digital switching system on an additional display delivers a fully integrated boating experience.

A key feature of the new BRABUS Shadow 900 is the fully personalized, brand-specific UI that can be found across all screens. This unique interface adds to the luxury feel of the vessel by delivering a truly customized experience to the user. The advanced system integration incorporates Mercury outboard engines as well as numerous technical appliances such as entertainment, lighting, fluid level sensors, power management, and the multifunctional steering wheel into the Simrad ecosystem, giving the driver complete freedom to control their entire vessel, at the touch of a button.
