SEA.AI (formerly known as OSCAR) just announced the release of Software Update v3.10 providing significant enhancements for both Brain and Sentry users.
New for SEA.AI Brain are:
SEA.AI Brain now offers improved performance on Raymarine MFDs (Axiom, Axiom Pro, Axiom+, Axiom 2). Streaming is now smoother and more reliable, ensuring uninterrupted real-time detection. The SEA.AI app is now automatically detected by Raymarine devices, providing a plug-and-play experience for quick and effortless setup.
This release enhances full support for NMEA2000. The system now connects directly to NMEA2000 networks for a seamless communication. SEA.AI Brain can now receive and transmit NMEA2000 messages, including alarms. It offers a tighter integration with your onboard systems.
We’ve improved the color contrast throughout the SEA.AI Brain app for better readability and accessibility in various lighting conditions.
SEA.AI Brain now automatically enables vertical stabilization for the FLIR M364 camera series, ensuring stable, clear video feeds and boosting detection accuracy in rough sea conditions.
We’re introducing the SEA.AI Brain API, designed for seamless integration with third-party navigation and control systems — ideal for use on uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) and advanced marine platforms. So, interested in integrating? Contact us for more details.
Further to the above, the Sea.AI Sentry system now includes the new Land Application Mode, built specifically for coastal and harbor surveillance to reply to custom needs. This new mode is optimized for shore-based monitoring installations, delivering precise object detection and enhanced situational awareness.
SEA.AI is a pioneer in the field of machine vision for marine applications. The Offshore, Competition & Sentry systems combine optical and thermal sensors with artificial intelligence for enhanced comfort and safety at sea. While the Brain add-on system pursues the promise of vaster surface vision capabilities for third-party thermal cameras. SEA.AI systems detect floating objects early, using thermal and optical cameras to catch even objects that escape conventional systems such as Radar or AIS: unsignalled craft, floating obstacles, containers, buoys, inflatables, kayaks and persons over board.
These latest software updates for SEA.AI systems, not only enhance the systems’ detection capabilities, but also offer a more user-friendly experience. As maritime security remains a persistent concern in today’s world, SEA.AI continues to lead the way with innovative solutions that supports crew members and maritime professionals to safeguard their vessels effectively. So, our users may stay safe, stay aware, and navigate with confidence—powered by Sea.AI.
