Note: For SYNAPSIS products in the areas of Radar, ECDIS and Integrated Bridge Systems, Anschütz has already implemented key elements of UR E27 and will inform accordingly once format approval is available.

UR E27 specifically defines requirements for onboard systems and devices, including the generation of audit logs for certain events, communication integrity and protection against malware installation. UR E27 was issued by the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS). IACS interprets regulations (e.g. from SOLAS) and develops corresponding requirements, which are then adopted by classification societies.
Anschütz stands for precise and reliable navigation systems. By certifying our products according to the cybersecurity requirements of UR E27, we are making shipping even safer and helping to ensure that ships and crews always reach their destinations securely. We are continuing along this path with other classification societies.
