Raytheon Anschütz, a business of Raytheon Technology, successfully completed type approval for the new Naval ECDIS NX, making it ready for delivery to newbuild and refit projects. The approval included the new Bridge Alert Management Standard according to the International Maritime Organization resolution IMO.302(87) and related International Electrotechnical Commission standards.
Naval ECDIS NX is designed as a modular WECDIS, or warship electronic chart display and information system for the coast guard and patrol boats, naval surface combatants, and submarines. It is based on a proven, IMO-compliant ECDIS and enhanced with modular naval and military features according to NATO Standardization Agreement 4564 Ed. 3 for enhanced tactical awareness and operation.

Naval ECDIS NX seamlessly integrated into Raytheon Anschütz’s Warship Integrated Navigation and Bridge System, which is state of the art for NATO warships.
