Raytheon Anschütz offers highly accurate, safe and flexible manual steering gear control systems, which can be configured according to any customer requirements.

 

Autopilots

With the experience of thousands of autopilot installations, Raytheon Anschütz has developed three different series of (adaptive and non-adaptive) autopilots, corresponding to the requirements of different vessel types.

 

Gyro Compass Systems/Repeater Compasses

Being the inventor of the gyro compass, Raytheon Anschütz offers sophisticated and cutting edge gyro compass technology based on over 110 years of experience. Raytheon Anschütz also offers maintenance-free solid-state gyros.

 

Special Naval/Submarine Equipment

In addition to the wide-ranging product line for surface ship applications, Raytheon Anschütz can offer a specialized product line as well as customer-specific applications for submarines. The product line extends the portfolio for example with advanced data management systems, chart tables and navigation consoles, various single-/multi-purpose displays as well as battery monitoring and customized 3D steering controls for submarines.

INS Synapsis NX
Synapsis NX is the world’s first INS which has been type-approoved according to IMO pergform and IEC test standard MSC.252(83)/IEC 61924-2. The system is providing intelligent integration for increased safety and reduced sress by using standardised components to create customised systems adaptable to specific needs.

Synapsis NX Workstations are available as a multifunctional workstation with access to all nautical applications or as a stand-alone system for a single application only. Raytheon Anschütz workstations offer advanced functionality beyond basic IMO requirements.



Autopilot NP5000
NP5000 is the latest autopilot series which has been specially designed for all ships fo 100m length and above. It provides heading control, and course control and is also part of track control system. The NP5000 series autopilots combine best steering performance with lowest rudder activity for less fuel consumption.




Autopilot PilotStar NX
PilotStar NX offers superior steering performance, thanks to decades of experience and the proven Anschütz steering algorithms. It includes the latest technical developments such as Ethernet communication and is approved as heading control system for standard and high-speed craft.



Gyrocompass Std-22
Std-22 combines proven technology and long maintenance intervals with advanced features. Its accuracy, reliability, and cost effectiveness over lifetime make it the most popular gyro compass in the market; sold for more than 18.000 times. The system consists of up to three gyro compasses and can include an operator unit and a distribution unit.


Repeaters
The analogue compass repeaters ensure a clear indication of heading using graduated compass cards. Compass sights, brackets and a pelorus stand are available for the bearing repeaters. Both digital repeaters indicate heading and rate-of-turn as a tendency. The Nav Data repeater also converts synchro/step signal to NMEA.




Manual Steering
Gear Control
NautoSteer Advanced Steering is designed according to fail-safe principles and provides maximun safety in manual and automatic steering control. No single failure in the system causes any unwanted rudder activity.


RAI Rudder Angle
Raytheon Anschütz provides all components for ship specific rudder angle indication system in a modular design. A rudder angle indication system consists of a feedback unit, a rudder angle amplifier and ruer angle indicators.
