We just found that installing Scientific Linux and then Olex 14.8 will not work. The combination of CentOS 8.3 and Olex 14.8 is fine, as is upgrading an existing previous Olex version to Olex 14.8 without reinstalling Linux. An updated software version, Olex 14.9 will shortly be released to have this issue fixed.
